Four Boy Scouts and three scout leaders were the guest speakers at the August 22, 2023, meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club. The Scouts shared about their 12-day rustic camping trip in the mountains at Philmont in New Mexico. They expressed that they grew in leadership skills, learned to never give up, learned to keep their spirits up in hard situations and to appreciate things more.
