Donna Marie Grossman, the daughter of Herman J. and Rose Agnes (Koeck) Oligmueller, was born February 8, 1927, in Miller, South Dakota. She attended St. Lawrence High School, St. Lawrence, South Dakota, graduating in 1945. She then attended Notre Dame Business College, Mitchell, South Dakota, receiving her associate degree.

On October 21, 1947, Donna was united in marriage to Leland E. Grossman in Miller. They made their home in Howard, South Dakota, for a short time and became the parents of three children, David, Susan, and Philip. The family moved to Missouri, making their home in St. Joseph, Mound City, and Tarkio. Leland passed away in January 1984.

Donna was a long-time faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Tarkio, and a member of Altar Society. She enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and took great pride in caring for her yard.  Donna passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at Homestead Assisted Living, Shenandoah, Iowa, at the age of 96.

Besides her parents and husband, Leland, Donna was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Scheier, Herman Oligmueller, Jr., Joe Oligmueller, Rosemary Augspurger, and Bill Oligmueller. Survivors include children, David (Cecelia) Grossman, Louisville, Nebraska, Susan (Rick) Bormann, The Hills, Texas, and Philip (Valerie) Grossman, Shenandoah; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Tarabetz, Fred (Beverly) Oligmueller, and Duane Oligmueller, all of South Dakota, and Joyce (Peter) Royal, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Tarkio. Private family interment was held at Home Cemetery, Tarkio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
