The fall semester opened September 1, 2023, with a strong enrollment at Tarkio Tech. The new program in pipe welding was introduced this fall and was filled. In addition, the HVAC installation program experienced its largest enrollment to date. The newly developed Halas Business Program will open in January 2024, offering enrollment as a resident student or as an online student.

The total enrollment for the semester stands at 30. Tarkio Tech welcomed back its high school partners, Tarkio High School and Shenandoah High School, and have their first full-time concurrent enrollment students from Fairfax High School.

Mark Staten has joined the staff as a full-time admission counselor. His duties will include attendance at regional college fairs and high school visits across Northwest Missouri, Southwest Iowa, Southeast Nebraska, and Northeast Kansas. He will also be conducting campus visits and tracking and contacting applicants throughout the year.
