Members of the East Atchison Lady Wolves’ golf team were treated to a big state golf send-off at Tarkio and Fairfax High Schools Friday morning, October 13, 2023. The Tarkio High School band played several tunes at Tarkio and Casey Martin announced upcoming sporting events and results, as well as wishing the girls good luck. The MSHSAA 2023 Class 1 Girls Golf Championship was held Monday and Tuesday, October 16 and 17, in Sedalia, Missouri. The Lady Wolves were in first place with a score of 413 at the end of the first day of competition. Complete results will be published next week.
