The East Atchison and Rock Port volleyball teams are competing in Districts this week at the Tarkio Activity Center. Rock Port is competing against North Nodaway Tuesday, October 17, at 6:45 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, East Atchison will play the winner of the Mound City/Craig vs. Nodaway Valley match that was also held Tuesday. At 6:45 p.m. that same night, the winner of the Rock Port vs. North Nodaway match will play the winner of the South Holt vs. Union Star/King City match. The championship game will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 24.

The Ralph Greer American Legion Post will hold its Pancake and Sausage Feed Sunday, October 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port.

A spaghetti dinner and baked goods auction benefit for the East Atchison K-12 wrestling programs will be held at the Tarkio Community Building Sunday, October 22. The dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. and the auction begins at 6:00 p.m.
