The Northwest Missouri Sportsman’s Club held a virtual check station for youth deer hunters in Atchison and Holt Counties who harvested deer this past weekend. All youth who submitted their harvest pictures and information were entered into a drawing for one of five prizes, including $50 gift cards to Bass Pro/Cabelas and the grand prize of a .270! A total of 15 youth hunters (12 from Atchison County and 3 from Holt County) participated. These young hunters braved the elements and were all smiles.
