During the month of November, the Tarkio National Honor Society and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America chapters teamed up to host a canned food drive in the Tarkio R-I schools. The elementary was able to collect 317 cans and the high school collected 265, totalling 582 cans, which were donated to the Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax, Missouri, Food Pantry. Donations were greatly appreciated, as well as Judy Henson with the food pantry, who helped organize the drive.
