The Northwest Missouri Homeschool Group archery team, the Eagles, competed in a National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) tournament December 16, 2017, in Platte City, MO. The team placed first in the high school division with a combined score of 3,034. Britney Wright received first place overall scoring 285 of a possible 300. Blade Wright received second place in the high school boys division with a score of 275. Eight of the fifteen archers placed in the top ten in their respective divisions. Others who competed were: Garrett, Cameron, and Lydia Sheldon of Fairfax, MO; Ethan, Caleb, and Ryan Lucas of Rock Port, MO; Kallista, Lily-Kate, and Wyatt Noel of Oregon, MO; Bentley Wright, Brett Wright, Courteney Gordon, and Hunter Gordon of Mound City. This is the Northwest Missouri Homeschool Group’s second year of participation in NASP.
