The Tarkio Volunteer Fire Department was called out to Tarkio Tech multiple days last week due to excessive winds reigniting embers in the institute’s burn pile behind the campus. Thankfully each time, the fire department was able to wet it down enough to keep the flames from spreading. Fireman Tim Scott is pictured hosing down the pile.
