The Northwest Missouri Sportsman’s Club recognized youth turkey hunters who harvested a turkey this past weekend. All who submitted photos were entered into a prize drawing for a Winchester 12 gauge shotgun and a handful of BassPro/Cabela’s gift cards. The winner will be announced later this week.

 

Six-year-old Jackson Zumbrunnen harvested his first turkey on Sunday, April 7, 2024. It weighed 24 lbs. and 10 oz. and had 1 3/16” spurs and a 2.5” beard (due to beard rot).

Grace Dinsdale harvested this 26.3 lb. turkey with an 11” beard and 1 1/4” spurs.

 

Seven-year-old Grayson Bradbury harvested his first turkey Sunday, April 7, 2024. It weighed 21 lbs. with a 10” beard and 1 1/8” spurs.

 

Ellee Salmond harvested her first turkey Saturday, April 6, 2024. It weighed 24 lbs. with an 11” beard and 1” spurs.

 

Maxon Graves harvested his first turkey, a juvenile gobbler weighing 18 lbs. with a 4” beard.

 

Ryker Gibson harvested his first turkey, an adult gobbler, weighing 26.5 lbs. with a 10” beard and 1 1/4” spurs.

 

Griffin Harrison harvested this adult gobbler weighing 25 lbs. with a 10 1/4” beard and 1 1/4” spurs.

 

Hunter Bolin harvested an adult gobbler weighing 22 lbs. with an 11″ beard and 1″ spurs.
