Tarkio High School musicians compete at State Music Contest

Several Tarkio High School music students competed in the 72nd Annual MSHSAA State Music Festival in Columbia, Missouri, Friday, April 26, 2024. Results from the competition follow:

Gold – Gabe Harms (trombone solo); and Olivia Schaefer (euphonium solo)

Silver – Brody Wennihan (vocal solo); Lizzie Schlueter (trumpet solo); Quin Staten (vocal solo); Tarkio Mixed 8 (vocal ensemble) – Alex Barnett, Claire Martin, Addison Noland, Chase Pearson, Lizzie Schlueter, Quin Staten, Ian Stepp, and Brody Wennihan; Tarkio Sextet (vocal ensemble) – Alex Barnett, Sydnee Bruns, Zoe Madron, Claire Martin, Addison Noland, and Lizzie Schlueter; and Trumpet Trio – Jozee Eaton, Lizzie Schlueter, and Quin Staten
