
The students in kindergarten through third grade performed the musical “A Froggy Day in Lindentown.”

Abbi Umbarger was one of the narrators for the musical “A Froggy Day in Lindentown.”

The fourth graders played “Merrily We Roll Along,” “Hot Cross Buns,” and “Springtime in Kyoto” on their recorders.

The fifth/sixth grade choir performed “Turn Off Your Phone Song” and “Who Put the Bomp.”

The fifth grade band performed “Twinkling Stars,” “Mary Ann,” and “Rock This Band.”

The sixth grade band played “High Hopes” and “Acropolis.”

Junior high choir members sang “Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World” and “Down by the Riverside.”

The junior high band played “Hey Baby!” and “Legend of the Eagles.”

The high school band played “Shrek Dance Party,” “A Court Jester March,” “Warpath,” and “Flourishes!”

Emmett Umbarger played the James Bond theme song in his piano solo.
The Fairfax R-3 preschoolers through seniors presented a spring music program for family and friends Tuesday, May 7.
The fifth/sixth grade choir performed “Turn Off Your Phone Song” and “Who Put the Bomp.” The fifth grade band performed “Twinkling Stars,” “Mary Ann,” and “Rock This Band.” The sixth grade band played “High Hopes” and “Acropolis.” The fifth and sixth graders include: 5th grade – Zailynn Cook (percussion), Wendy Hurst (alto saxophone), Zach Koop (percussion), Brody Landess (percussion), MJ May (trumpet), Radlee Meier (trombone), Ava Oswald (trumpet), Gabriel Rhoades (clarinet), Ayden Stoner (trombone), Joel Vance (tuba), Patrick Wheeler (alto saxophone), and Parker Woodring (clarinet); and sixth grade – Kaylee Allen (trumpet), Katie Avrett (baritone), Dominick Bradbury (percussion), Geb Burke (clarinet), Zander Grossman (tuba), Brooklyn Hestermann (trombone), Mikayla McDonald, Delaney Oswald (baritone), Mackenzie Oswald (trumpet), Jaycee Stoner (flute), Ben Umbarger (clarinet), Alex Wintz (alto saxophone), and Lela Wright (alto saxophone).

Junior high choir members sang “Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World” and “Down by the Riverside.” The junior high band played “Hey Baby!” and “Legend of the Eagles.” The junior high band and choir members include: seventh graders – Deyton Burke (baritone), Avery Fast, Mylie Folkerts, Brenna Kingery (clarinet), Riley Koop (alto saxophone), Preston LaFolette, Caroline Larson (trumpet), Jude Long (trumpet), Madi Meier, Aliyah Pearce (clarinet), Evan Rogers (percussion), and Olivia Woods (tenor saxophone); and 8th graders – Ace Allen, Kelsey Avrett (flute), Lataveon Brown, Damon Drummond, Tyler Duering (percussion), Carley Graham, Leila Knight (trumpet), Wyatt Landess, Knox Oswald, Bentley Price, Elsey Rogers, Jaxson Smith (trombone), Kagen Swenson, Brady Umbarger, and Emma Vance (baritone).

The high school band ended the event with “We’re Loyal to You.”
