The last day of school for Rock Port R-II students is Thursday, May 23. High school will dismiss at 12:12 p.m. and the elementary will dismiss at 12:22 p.m. that day.

Take the kids to the Rock Port Memorial Park Thursday, May 23, to celebrate the end of the school year. The Rock Port Tourism Board is sponsoring the second Summer Palooza. This event is free and open to all ages.

Memorial Day is Monday, May 27. Be sure to attend one of the ceremonies put on by the legionnaires throughout Atchison and Holt counties. For the complete schedule, see page 14.
