THS FBLA District winners

The Tarkio High School FBLA members who placed at Districts are: Kamryn Brown, 5th place in Agribusiness; Lizzie Schlueter, 4th place in Human Resource Management; Alex Barnett, 7th place in Journalism; Cole Anderson, 1st place in Database Design; River Dow, 2nd place in Database Design; and Alex Barnett, Tommi Martin (not pictured), and Claire Martin (not pictured) – 1st place in Social Media Strategies.

 

Tarkio FFA Floriculture District Champs

Tarkio FFA had the District Champion Floriculture Team this year. Team members included Lizzie Schlueter, Kamryn Brown, Brooklyn Wennihan, and Abbie Harms.

Tarkio FFA Chapter Degrees

Tarkio FFA Chapter Degrees were presented to Quin Staten, Bresayda Jimenez, Rainy Nordhausen, Bo Peregrine, Carter Wennihan, and Jaeka Wiley.

 

Tarkio FFA 2024-25 officers

Tarkio FFA 2024-25 officers are: Abbie Harms, president; Kamryn Brown and Lizzie Schlueter, vice-presidents; Gabe Harms, treasurer; Quin Staten, secretary; and Bailey Wennihan, reporter. Abbie is also the Area I Chaplain.

 

Honorary FFA Degree

The Tarkio FFA Chapter presented the Honorary FFA Degree to Shane Rhoades.

 

Tarkio FFA Scholarship Awards

Tarkio FFA senior Brooklyn Wennihan, junior Kamryn Brown, sophomore Rainy Nordhausen, and freshman Bailey Wennihan  were presented Scholarship Awards.

 

THS FFA Greenhand Degrees and Star Greenhand

The Tarkio FFA Chapter presented Greenhand Degrees to Bailey Wennihan, Aiden Jimenez, Parker Livengood, Danika Agnew, Finn Hurst, Brody Wennihan, Teahen Hannah, and Delainee White. Delainee was also named the Star Greenhand.

 

THS FCCLA STAR Events competitors

Tarkio High School FCCLA members who competed in STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) included: Jina Harbit, silver in the regional level in Career Investigation; Brody, top gold at State and advances on to Nationals in Seattle, Washington, this summer in Public Policy Advocacy; and Sydnee Bruns and Brooklyn Wennihan, 4th at State in National Programs in Action. Also pictured is Advisor Dara Whipple. High points recognition also went to Brody, Sydnee, and Brooklyn.

The Tarkio High School 2024-25 FCCLA officers were installed at the awards assembly. They are: Brody Wennihan, 1st vice-president; Bailey Wennihan, 2nd vice-president; Haylee Clark, treasurer; Jina Harbit, secretary/historian; Grace Caudill, recreation leader; Sydnee Bruns, president; and Isaac Vette and Bailey Wennihan, Student Council representatives.
