Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: grape juice (64 oz.), fruits (15-20 oz. – mixed fruit, peaches, pears, pineapple, mandarin oranges), cake mixes (chocolate or white), creamy peanut butter (16 oz.), Hamburger Helper, tomatoes, ground beef (1 lb. pkg.), and toilet paper.

The food pantry will be open the Tuesday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Good News Church will open the pantry in October.

The food pantry schedule for the months of November and December will change. The food pantry will open one week early in each of those months due to the holidays. The Tarkio Christian Church will open the pantry November 12, 14, 19, and 21. In December the board will open the pantry on December 10, 12, 17, and 19.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.

Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is low on the following items: canned pears, canned peaches, canned chicken, Spam, pancake mix, syrup, spaghetti pasta, toothbrushes (single or double packs, please).

The food pantry will be open Friday, October 25, 5:00-6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 5, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon; Friday, November 8, 5:00-6:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, November 19, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.

Donations are welcome. Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482.
