Atchison County will once again be represented at the state golf meet. The ladies qualified for state competition at the Class 1, District 4 meet Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Plattsburg, Missouri. Those advancing are Sydnee Bruns and Danika Agnew, East Atchison, and Karlie Gebhards and Emma Teten, Rock Port.

The Lady Wolves finished third out of 10 teams overall with a 410.  The Lady Blue Jays finished in fifth place with a 428.

Individual results are: Karlie Gebhards (RP), 90, All-District 3rd place medalist; Sydnee Bruns (EA) 96, All-District 7th place medalist; Danika Agnew (EA) 98, All-District 9th place medalist; Emma Teten (RP) 106, All-District 18th place medalist; Kami Brown (EA), 108; Amelia Larson (EA), 108; Payten Shrader (RP), 112; Hadleigh Jones (RP), 120; Savanna Lindsay (EA), 122; and Landrey Kelly (RP), 137.

Sydnee, Danika, Karlie, and Emma will compete in the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s Class 1 State Tournament October 21-22, 2024, in Farmington.
