This fall’s “Friends of Tarkio College” are Nancy Hughes, Danny McCoy, Community Hospital-Fairfax, and Trail’s End.  These individuals and businesses have been key contributors to the growth of the Tarkio College campus and Tarkio Tech’s success and were recently presented with yard signs to honor them for their support.

Nancy Hughes has provided hours of volunteer labor, working with her daughter Amy Hughes to get the Jenison Hall student housing building ready for its opening last June, as well as major clean-up and restoration projects in multiple areas across the campus.

Danny McCoy’s work on the windows and the doors at Jenison Hall was critical to the completion of the facility. In addition, Danny has provided invaluable guidance and advice on several of the school’s projects.

Community Hospital-Fairfax has sponsored Tarkio Tech’s Health Career Fair and has participated in all the school’s area-wide high school career fairs over the last five years. The hospital has also been involved in the Tarkio Tech Health Occupations and Certified Nurse Assistant program.

Trail’s End has been one of the school’s major sponsors in the student orientation program. This program provides students with gifts that help them get acclimated to the area and provide them with some of the necessities of student life.

Tarkio Tech is grateful to all of its donors and volunteers from the community. Without them, the school’s growth and success would not be possible.
