First graders send letters to Santa
Mrs. Bredensteiner’s and Mrs. Geib’s Rock Port Elementary first grade classes made a trip to the Atchison County Mail on Monday, December 16, 2024, to mail their Santa letters. Each of the students placed their letter in the mail box and then all posed for a group picture after.

Jeriah Jones, pictured at right, puts her letter in the Santa Mail Box at the Atchison County Mail. The letters will be forwarded to the North Pole and printed in next week’s Atchison County Mail.

The Fairfax R-3 Smart Steps Preschool students are excited for Christmas. They recently shared their letters to Santa (published here). Pictured are, from left to right: front row – Emma Schlup and Addison Rafe; middle row – Cammie White, Ella Smith, Audrey Zumbrunnen, Lexus Crowley, and Dani Boyle; and back row – Xavion Pinzino, Claire Oswald, and Patrick Swenson. Letters to Santa can be emailed to dearsanta@rpt.coop or dropped off at the North Pole mailbox at the Atchison County Mail. Letters will be printed (as submitted) in the Atchison County Mail.
