The East Atchison Wrestling Squad traveled to Lawson, Missouri, Saturday, December 14, 2024, to compete.
The Lady Wolves competed in the first Lawson Girls Classic. Danni Irvine and Dylan Drummond both won their brackets, earning first place medals. Bella Bywater placed second and Alyson Wooten placed third.
On the boys’ side, it was the second annual Lawson Boys Classic. Bo Peregrine took second place in his bracket. Braxton Melton-Davis started the day with a pin, but in his second match, he hurt his shoulder and wasn’t able to compete the rest of the tournament. Jax Peregrine earned two pins, despite having an eye swollen shut.
