The Tarkio and Rock Port Girl Scouts recently took a tour at the Gould Peterson Municipal Airport in Tarkio. Gus Hurst and Brooks Hurst showed the girls around the hangars and airplanes and Brooks taught them about the history and parts of a plane. (Submitted by Natasha Baruth)

The Girl Scouts were able to hop into a cockpit and earned airplane pins from Brooks Hurst by answering questions.
