Kiwanis Lt. Gov. Harlyn Fritzen presented Marilyn Alldredge with a pin and a certificate of appreciation as The Gift of Kiwanis Award.

The Fairfax Kiwanis Club held their annual installation dinner October 3, 2017, at Community Hospital-Fairfax. Following a delicious meal, Kiwanis President Roger Steinkruger opened the meeting in normal fashion with members introducing their spouses or guests.
Special guest for the evening was Kiwanis Lt. Gov. Harlyn Fritzen of St. Joseph. He installed the following officers and board members: Roger Steinkruger, president; Jack Kruse, president-elect; Danny Kemerling, vice-president; Marilyn Alldredge, secretary; Bob Alldredge, treasurer; Doyne Swan, recording treasurer; and Ed Taylor, Gene Carder, Jon Davis, Julie Jones, Betty Wennihan, Ferd Ray and Dr. Jeremy Burright, board members.
Mr. Fritzen spoke briefly of his duties as Lt. Governor. He acknowledged the Fairfax Kiwanis Club for their dedication to the community and county and the many projects involving the youth before a special surprise presentation was made. Mr. Fritzen presented Marilyn Alldredge with a certificate of appreciation as The Gift of Kiwanis Award for inviting new members into the Fairfax organization at the Silver Level. She received a pin in addition to the certificate.
