The 2025 Mound City Quad was held March 24, 2025, at Mound City, Missouri.

The Lady Jays won the girls’ meet with 110 points. Mound City placed second with 79 points, East Atchison placed third with 53 points, and South Holt placed fourth with 31 points.

Atchison County’s female athletes claimed 11 first place finishes out of 19 events.

Ella Meyerkorth won the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, the high jump, and the javelin throw. Audrie Meyerkorth won the 400 meter dash, Avery Meyerkorth won the  800 meter run, Norah Watkins won the 1600 meter run and 3200 meter run, and Landrey Kelly won the pole vault. Rock Port’s 4×800 meter relay team of Jacoby Driskell, Avery Meyerkorth, Norah Watkins, and Braylyn Wood also won first place.

East Atchison’s 4×400 meter relay team of Grace Caudill, Grace Oswald, Taya Windham, and Lizzie Schlueter won first place in that event.

Mound City’s boys won the meet with 71 points. Rock Port placed second with 70 points, South Holt placed third with 48 points, and East Atchison placed fourth with 39 points.

Eight first place finishes were won by Atchison County’s male athletes.

Malachi Skillen won the 800 meter run, 1600 meter run, and 3200 meter run. Bracton Cook won the 100 meter dash, Ryder Herron won the shot put, and Gabe Gebhards won the discus throw and javelin throw.

Mason Kingery won the 200 meter dash, and East Atchison’s 4×800 meter relay team of Cole Anderson, Quin Staten, Clayton Vernon, and Mason Kingery won that race.
