Tayden Cook, top, placed third in the Class 1 District 4 Golf Meet with a 76 and River Dow, above, placed sixth with an 81. Both golfers will now compete in the State Golf Tournament May 19 and 20 at the Meadow Lake Country Club in New Bloomfield, Missouri.

The Class 1 District 4 Golf Meet was held Friday, May 9, 2025, at Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe, Missouri. Levi Lindley of St. Joseph Christian won the meet with a 73 on the par 72 golf course.

Tayden Cook, Rock Port, placed third with a 76 and River Dow, East Atchison, placed sixth with an 81. Both golfers qualified to compete in the State Golf Tournament May 19 and 20 at the Meadow Lake Country Club in New Bloomfield, Missouri.

The Rock Port boys’ team placed eighth overall with a total score of 382 and the East Atchison boys’ team placed 11th overall with a total score of 401.

Individual scores for Rock Port golfers were: 36th (tie), Ryland Garst, 94; 45th (tie), Aricin Weber, 101; 68th (tie), Ryzer Hale, 111; and 73rd, Henley Mace, 113.

Individual scores for the EA golfers were: 42nd (tie), Cowen O’Riley, 98; 49th, Brody Wennihan, 103; 77th, Austin Helfers, 119; and 83rd (tie), Mason Kingery, 129.
