Last week was a busy one at Tarkio Tech as a number of students and adults pitched in to clean up the campus.

On Tuesday, Tarkio High School NHS students Quin Staten, Bailey Wennihan, Finn Hurst, Brody Wennihan, Bresayda Jimenez, and Robbie Armstrong, along with Sponsor Ellie Graves, joined Amy Hughes to work on the grounds. Mark Staten, Nancy Hughes, and Jon and Sonia Willers also volunteered their time. Trees were trimmed and items were moved into a new place. Flower beds were also cleaned out.

On Thursday, Jon and Sonia Willers came again to clean up more flower beds. Sara Lester also came up and cleaned out flower beds in the Slusher Courtyard. Jason, Tina and Jack Sutter were there to mow and clean up the yard.

HT Adams and Paul Fell were also working with Tarkio College Alumni Association in their museum and came out to help trim some low hanging branches in trees. Several people also helped clean the bathrooms and doors in Rankin Hall.

On Friday, Isaac and Owen Vette  come to help and they did a great job trimming up a bush that was out of hand. Mark and Quin Staten came and planted some flowers. Sondra Davis was a jack of all trades on Friday helping everywhere she could. Amy also remarked, “I would like to thank the person who came and finished cleaning up the tree that fell. I don’t know who it was, but you are appreciated greatly!”
