First Lutheran Church hosted the Rock Port Community Vacation Bible School June 16-18. Around 40 wranglers, buckaroos, ranch hands, and cowpokes kicked up their heels at Yee-Haw VBS, stampeded through the wild frontier and celebrated the greatest truth of all – God is good! They rounded up a whole herd of friends and learned about how God gives good gifts and that giving to others is the way to live. Projects for the week included making approximately 40 care kits and 45 birthday cake kits.
