The Tarkio Parks & Recreation Board is hosting a Chews & Cruise Night on Main Street in Tarkio Tuesday, July 22, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Several vendors will be set up on Main.

Do you think you have the best toss in town? The library will have a yard games teen event Wednesday, July 23, at the Rock Port City Park for kids in seventh, eighth and ninth grades. Games will include corn hole, ladder toss, yard Yahtzee, and sand volleyball. The free event will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The 87th annual membership meeting of the Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Rock Port High School Gymnasium. Registration will be from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. and the meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the drawing of prizes.

Race over to the Tarkio Resource Center Thursday, July 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for Lego Club. Kids from preschool age to sixth grade will build a race car and see who wins the race. Register by calling your local branch of the Atchison County Library.

Tarkio First Baptist Church invites children ages preschool-5th grade to Wonder Junction Vacation Bible School, where attendees will marvel at Jesus and live for His glory!
