Shane Hux with the Missouri State Highway Patrol was the guest speaker at the noon meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He gave a history of the highway patrol noting the changes in equipment, vehicles and uniforms through the years. He noted that the patrol is understaffed with Troop H short 22 patrol persons and statewide the shortage is 175 positions. (Submitted by Anita Sutter)
