Gena Mitchell of Fairfax, Missouri, has opened a hair salon in Brooke Vette’s Hidden Beauty shop at 119 Main Street in Tarkio. Hair By Gena offers every hair service, from cuts to colors to perms, as well as waxing and pedicures.

A 2021 Fairfax High School graduate and daughter of Tony and Lisa Mitchell of Fairfax, Gena always loved doing hair and often times helped her sister, Tacy, with her hair. After graduation, she decided to give professional hair styling a try. She attended Soho Hair Academy in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and then opened up Hair By Gena in August of this year.

Gena’s hair salon is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Give her a call at 660-920-9131 to schedule your appointment today or stop by the shop at 119 Main Street.
