It was a good night to stop by the Atchison County Memorial Building and have a bowl of soup with the Ralph Greer American Legion Post #49. The crowd started early and lasted most of the evening.

Legion members manned their stations and served chicken noodle soup, chili, ham and beans, potato soup, and taco soup.

A display honors the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, made by Kenneth Greenley. They will be on display at the Memorial Building to honor the men and women who fought in Vietnam.
