The Tarkio R-I School District is proud to announce outstanding results from the 2025 Annual Performance Report (APR), marking a significant milestone in its fourth year of the MSIP 6 cycle. This year, the Tarkio R-I School District earned an overall score of 87.5% on the district report card – an impressive 17.2% increase from last year’s results. The increase can be attributed to an increase in both academic achievement status in all areas and substantial student Academic Growth Achievement.

The district achieved 81% of its academic performance points and a perfect 100% of its continuous improvement points, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of its students, staff, and community. The district superintendent and administrators shared these exciting results with district staff on November 3 and with the Board of Education on November 12.

“These results are a true testament to the commitment of our teachers and students to excellence,” said district leadership. “We are proud of the continued progress toward our academic goals and the collective effort it represents across the district.”

Tarkio R-I continues to build on this momentum, focusing on high-quality instruction, student growth, and maintaining a strong foundation for future success. The district looks forward to continued progress and achievement in the years ahead.
