Although not exactly taking advantage of #ShopAC, these lego lovers stopped by the Atchison County Library in Rock Port on Thursday, November 20, to create masterpieces. Anyone who stopped by was also able to sign up for a chance to win great prizes. Pictured at top are Abbie and Kyzer Loper. The Atchison County Development Corporation (ACDC) sponsored its #ShopAC event last Thursday, November 20, 2025. Each time a shopper purchased an item at one of the participating businesses, they got a signature on a passport and at the end of the event, those passports were turned in for the chance to win prizes. Ten winners were gifted $100 gift certificates each to the Atchison County business of their choice. Winners were: Bill Smith, Julia Shrader, Mark Evans, Dixie Teten, Melanie Riley, Renee Craven, Amber Smelts, Erica Taylor, Sue Heits, and Stacey Calfee.
