Tarkio Tech’s Welding Showcase is taking place through Wednesday, December 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in The Curnutt Center on the Tarkio Tech campus. A percentage of each sale goes to a TTI welding scholarship fund.

Tarkio High School musicians will be performing their Christmas Concert for family and friends Wednesday, December 17, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Sixth through 12th grades will be participating in the event, which will include both instrumental and vocal performances. Seating is limited, so be sure to get there early!

Join the library for family fun, story time, crafts, and snacks at the Third Thursdays event at the Tarkio Library at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18. These programs are for children up to 4 years of age and their parents or guardians.

The Tarkio Elementary students and Tarkio Nutrition Center staff invite the public to the center on Thursday, December 18, for a festive Christmas caroling event. The students will be singing Christmas carols for everyone at the center from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Come enjoy the holiday spirit while supporting the Nutrition Center.

Volunteers will be out in Rock Port this Friday, December 19, and Saturday, December 20, ringing the bell for The Salvation Army. An amazing 84% of what is donated locally stays in Atchison County, so please donate!
