The East Atchison high school basketball teams will be hosting the 94th annual Fairfax Invitational Basketball Tournament next week. Be sure to check out the brackets in this week’s edition for game times.

The next Second Harvest mobile food pantry in Atchison County will be Monday, January 12, 2026, at Rock Port High School, 600 S. Nebraska Street in Rock Port, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Vehicles should drive east on Calhoun Street along the north side of the school. Supplies are limited, but the food is free to the public. There are no income guidelines.
