Over $1,500 raised for CTA scholarships

Tarkio CTA held a chili supper Friday, January 23, 2026, in the Tarkio Elementary Gym. Pictured are CTA members, from left to right, Deyton Thomson, Blu Dow, and Ellie Graves. Despite the frigid temps, a large crowd of hungry folks attended and the CTA group raised over $1,500 for its scholarship fund. If anyone is interested in still donating toward the scholarship fund please take it to the Elementary Office or mail it to 1201 Pine Street Tarkio, MO 64491.

Chili – The spice of life

It was easy for Betty Beggs, Donna Logan, and Kyra Mills to have a good time while dining at the Tarkio CTA chili supper Friday, January 23, 2026. It’s been ages since chili suppers on a Friday night were a routine thing and it was obvious because the Tarkio Elementary Cafeteria was packed with eager eaters despite them having to get out in nasty winter weather.
