Left undetected over time, high blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, vision loss, kidney disease or failure, and many other significant health issues. Community Hospital-Fairfax staff are hitting the road to take 500 blood pressures across Atchison and Holt counties. CH-F staff members will be posted at seven different locations across the Community Hospital-Fairfax service area. The schedule is as follows:
• February 9, 2026, Mound City High School, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
• February 10, 2026, South Holt High School, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
• February 13, 2026, at the Tarkio Activity Center during the East Atchison vs. Rock Port basketball games, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
• February 17, 2026, Tarkio Nutrition Site, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• February 18, 2026, Rock Port Senior Center, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• February 25, 2026, Mound City Nutrition Center, 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• February 26, 2026, Community Hospital-Fairfax lobby, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
