Alice Wilkinson, a Pleasant View Nursing Home resident in Rock Port, Missouri, celebrated her 101st birthday Saturday, March 7, 2026. Alice was born at home on March 7, 1925, in Bradshaw, Nebraska. She worked over the years as a cook, Rock Port Telephone Company phone operator, Tarkio College mail room clerk, grocery store cashier in Rock Port and head cashier at Walgreens in Scottsdale, Arizona. Besides being parents to four children, Alice and her first husband, Eugene Francis Scott, owned and operated Scotty’s Liquor Store and hosted the teen dances in Rock Port.
