Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: tomato juice (46 oz. can), saltine crackers, cake mixes (chocolate or white), soups (cream of mushroom, chicken noodle, tomato, cream of chicken, vegetable beef, chili), boxed potatoes (au gratin, scalloped), Tuna Helper, chili style beans, ground beef (1 lg. pkg.), Blue Bonnet margarine (lb. sticks), and dish soap.

The food pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. the third and fourth weeks of each month. The pantry is also open the third Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Donations to the food pantry, especially monetary donations, are always appreciated. Donations may be sent to Anita Sutter, treasurer, at 26287 290th Street, Fairfax, MO 64446.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.

Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is encouraging each church to donate the following items:

Rock Port Baptist Church – Cake mixes, Jell-O, pudding mix, boxed mashed potatoes, Jiffy cornbread mix, Minute Rice, icing, stuffing mix, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, disinfectant wipes, sponges

First Christian Church – Canned vegetables (peas, carrots, spinach, mixed vegetables, diced tomatoes), laundry soap

First Lutheran Church – Flour (5 lb. bag), sugar (4 lb. bag), cooking oil, macaroni and cheese

United Methodist Church – Toothpaste, toothbrushes, men’s and women’s deodorant, men’s and women’s razors, men’s and women’s shaving cream

Grace Church – Raisin Bran, corn flakes, Cheerios, pancake mix, syrup, paper towels (large case), toilet paper (large case).

The food pantry will be open  Tuesday, April 21, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, April 24, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482.
