Linda Craven Brown, 74, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away April 2, 2026, after an extended hospitalization. The daughter of James Edward and Phyllis Evelyn (Martin) Craven, Linda was born February 3, 1952, in Fairfax, Missouri.
She grew up attending schools in Westboro, Missouri, and Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from Tarkio High School in 1970. She received a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Her career included many years with KOA, a radio station in Denver, Colorado, that broadcast for the Rockies and Broncos. Linda enjoyed attending many of their games and meeting some of the players. She also enjoyed horseback riding, gardening – especially flowers, watching movies with her son, and spending time in the mountains.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Keith Brown; her son, Alex Brown; sister, Nancy (John) Hubbell; niece, Audra (Ted Werenski) Hubbell; grand-nephew, Reece; and grand-niece, Thea.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be given to the donor’s preference.
