The Tarkio Nutrition Center has announced that the Kids’ Summer Meals program is returning for another season of nutritious, hot lunches – completely free for every child in the community. The program begins May 20.

This year they are taking the program a step further by introducing a brand‑new delivery option through the Fairfax Library.

Thanks to a collaboration with the library, families can now pre‑order a meal each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and pick it up at the library from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

To secure a spot, call 660-736-5725 during the ordering window. Meals are reserved on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so be sure to call in advance.
