A one-vehicle crash on April 20, 2026, injured two Rock Port, Missouri, men. The wreck occurred at 12:12 p.m. on Route U, three miles south of Langdon, Missouri, when a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was driving southbound. The vehicle crossed the center of the roadway and traveled off the east side. The Chevy’s front driver’s side bumper struck an embankment. The vehicle continued southbound in the ditch and the front bumper struck a culvert and the Chevy came to rest on its wheels, facing southeast off the east side of the road.

The driver, a 66-year-old man, and an occupant, a 39-year-old man, both from Rock Port and both not wearing their seat belts, suffered moderate injuries and were transported by an Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Community Hospital-Fairfax in Fairfax, Missouri. The 2007 Chevy Silverado was totaled and towed from the scene by Double M Towing. The accident was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. K.L. Ebersold, who was assisted by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri Department of Conservation, Rock Port Fire Department, and the Atchison-Holt Ambulance Service.
