Rock Port seniors who participated in girls’ and boys’ track, baseball, boys’ golf and their parents were honored Wednesday, May 13, at the ballfield in Rock Port.

The Blue Jays faced off against the Mid-Buchanan Dragons in an extra-inning contest. The game was tied at seven heading into the ninth where the Dragons added six runs to finish off Rock Port 13-7. Sophomore Rylan Hunter was the driving force of the Blue Jay offense with four runs batted in, hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth. The Blue Jays ended the regular season with a 20-4 record.

Due to weather conditions, the district tournament has been postponed. Rock Port will play the Cardinals of North Andrew Tuesday, May 19, at 4:00 p.m hosted in Rock Port. The championship game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, at 5:00 p.m.
