Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is low on the following items: chili beans, cooking oil, tomato sauce, strawberry jelly, cereal (Raisin Bran and corn flakes), pancake mix, syrup, chocolate icing, pineapple, apricots, fruit cocktail, peas, stuffing mix, canned chicken, Spaghetti-O’s, Cheeseburger Macaroni Hamburger Helper,   floor cleaner, and sponges.

The food pantry will be open  Tuesday, June 2, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; Friday, June 12, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, June 16, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, June 26, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp, Rock Port, Missouri, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482.

Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry update

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: fruits (15-20 oz. – mixed fruit, peaches, pears, pineapple, mandarin oranges), tomato juice (46 oz. can), saltine crackers, soups (cream of mushroom, chicken noodle, tomato, cream of chicken, vegetable beef, chili), Jello and instant puddings (small boxes), beef or chicken pot pies, and laundry detergent.

The food pantry will be open Thursday, May 28, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Tarkio Baptist opens the pantry in May. Fairfax Presbyterian will staff the pantry in June.

Donations to the food pantry, especially monetary donations, are always appreciated. Donations may be sent to Anita Sutter, treasurer, at 26287 290th Street, Fairfax, MO 64446.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio, Missouri.
