Stoner to receive scholarship to attend Missouri State University
Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, recently awarded scholarships to incoming students for the 2026-27 academic year.
These students were selected from those who applied based on their ACT scores, GPA, standing in graduating class, and leadership shown in community and school activities.
Skylar Stoner, Rock Port, Missouri, received The 1905 Award.
Natalie Hedlund on Dean’s List at Washburn
Washburn University has announced its spring 2026 Dean’s List honorees. To qualify for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99.
Natalie Hedlund, Fairfax, Missouri, was one of more than 900 students who qualified.
Brooke Holley named to UA President’s List
A total of 14,306 students enrolled during spring semester 2026 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).
The UA dean’s and president’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.
Brooke Holley, Rock Port, Missouri, was named to the president’s list.
College of Saint Mary awards degrees
College of Saint Mary (CSM) presented degrees to 187 graduates during commencement on May 16 at the Lied Fitness Center Fieldhouse on campus.
Ryan Dewhirst, Tarkio, Missouri, received a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Iowa State honors spring graduates
Nearly 4,900 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University in graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies held May 14-16.
Aaron Schlueter, Tarkio, Missouri, graduated Summa Cum Laude. He received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering.
