Around 35 people from Fairfax Methodist Church, Fairfax, Missouri, gathered Sunday, June 7, for their Growing Project’s annual dedication and hot dog roast. With rain in the forecast, the usual location at the 10 acre plot looked risky. Generous volunteers hosted the event in their building next to another corn field that is a part of the Growing Project. The group enjoyed hot dogs and campfire s’mores while sharing a time of worship and prayer to dedicate this year’s crop and efforts to support the Honduras Macuelizo program. It was a beautiful evening of joined generations lifting up their shared work to be used for God’s glory. (Submitted photo)
