Rock Port’s Old Fashioned Saturday Night Sept. 19

September 19 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Rock Port’s Main Street will be the site of the 42nd annual Old Fashioned Saturday Night September 19, 2026. The festivities will start at 5:00 p.m. with the Atchison County Community Band playing “The Star Spangled Banner.” The band will play several musical numbers. The Rock Port Tourism Board will hold the ping pong ball drop following the national anthem.

Registration for the Little Tuggers Tractor Pull will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the pull will start at 6:30 p.m. The tractor pull will again be at the intersection of Opp and Main.

Local businesses, clubs and organizations will have booths, games and activities of all kinds. (See the map on page 7.)

Duncan’s Carriage Rides will also be in Rock Port again this year.

The Slo Rollers car show will feature vintage vehicles. They will also be collecting for the local food pantry. (No green beans or corn, please).

• Groovy’s Grub – hamburgers for Bob Wilmes

• Stilwell’s Krazy Corn – crazy corn

• Speech/Debate Team – tattoos and balloon animals

• Baptist Church – photo booth for kids and prayer station

• First Lutheran Church – basketball free throw

• Cozy Bear Trinkets – polymer clay and crocheted items

• Farm2Fork Ranch – petting zoo and selling honey

The Ralph Greer American Legion Post #49 is holding a raffle for a locally made wooden hat and coat rack, as well as a Savage Arms Axis 2 XP 243 Winchester rifle with Bushnell scope and a case. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five tickets. The drawing will take place at Old Fashioned Saturday Night. Money raised will go to community projects. Community Worship Service

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance will host a community worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, September 20, at the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port, Missouri. Everyone is invited. There will be a potluck dinner following the service.
