Brownville will celebrate artists, galleries, studios, and public art at the Brownville Village Art Walk Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Visitors will enjoy original paintings, glass, jewelry, fiber, metal, naturals, pottery, and wooden art. Area artists will be showing and selling their work throughout the village with several located in the Antiquarium at 309 Water Street and the Opera House on Main Street.

Brownville Fine Arts Association and Brownville Education Center for Arts and Humanities have been working together to start an annual event for guests to enjoy a wide variety of art from Southeast Nebraska artists, visit with artists about their work, experience art studios, and view public art.
