The time has come for the swimming pools in Atchison County to close out their summer seasons.

The Tarkio Municipal Pool will close Friday, August 14. The pool will be open an extra hour each day this week, opening at 12:00 noon instead of 1:00 p.m.

The Rock Port Municipal Pool will have an End-of-the-Season Glow Night Friday, August 14, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Admission is $3 for passholders and $5 for nonpassholders and includes a glow pack. What is left of concessions will be available for purchase.
