Chris Chamberlain, Rock Port, Missouri, will begin his 40th year in education this upcoming school year. Chris spent 31 years teaching and coaching at Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri. He retired in 2018 and started working as a substitute and  paraprofessional in 15 different schools, covering Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. Chris covered all grades K-12, and also every subject matter, including long term positions as a paraprofessional for special needs students during this part of his three-year educational journey.

Chris was hired in 2021 at the Shenandoah Middle School as the Success Program Associate and spent four years in that position. In 2025, he was hired as the first K-12 Positive Peer and Bully Prevention Coordinator in the Shenandoah Community School District. In this position, Chris oversees all behavioral issues related to bullying and harassment initiated cases. He is also the Middle School PBIS Instructor (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support.) Chris will also be teaching a new specialized class in the new Therapeutic Learning Center at the Middle School.
