The Tarkio College Alumni will gather in Tarkio, Missouri, this weekend for the annual Homecoming 2026 festivities. Events will be held Friday through Sunday and include:

Friday, September 18

9:00 a.m. – Work day at Rankin Hall on the campus

1:00 p.m. – Golf outing at Tarkio Golf Course ($35 – cart included)

4:00 p.m. – Meet and greet at the Tarkio Golf Clubhouse at the course (free-will donations accepted)

Saturday, September 19

9:30 a.m. – Board meeting at Rankin Hall

10:00 a.m. – Rankin Hall museum is open all day (free-will donations accepted)

12:00 noon – Luncheon at The Curnutt Center/Thompson Hall ($25)

2:00 p.m. – Meeting of the corporation at Rankin Hall

3:00 p.m. – Honors ceremony at Rankin Hall

6:00 p.m. – Dinner at The Curnutt Center/Thompson Hall ($30)

Sunday, September 20

9:30 a.m. – Choir rehearsal at the Tarkio Presbyterian Church

10:30 a.m. – Church service at the Tarkio Presbyterian Church

(Note: there is a lift for handicap accessibility into Rankin Hall, but the restrooms are not ADA compliant.)

This year’s honor classes are 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, and 1991. This year’s honorees are: Outstanding Alumnus Award – John Morrill (’84); Outstanding Arts Award – Richard Hodge (’88); Athletic Hall of Fame – 1976-77 Men’s Basketball Team, Jerry Lapsley (’75), Julie McKinney (’90), 1977 Women’s Softball Team, and 1988 Women’s Softball Team; and Charles McAdams Memorial Scholarship – Menah Fell (granddaughter of Paul Fell ’75).
