In September 2026, the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office was referred information on a case by the Northwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force. After investigating, a search warrant and a probable cause statement was submitted to the Atchison County Prosecutor’s Office. This resulted in a warrant being issued by the Atchison County Circuit Court for William “Billy” Miller of Fairfax, Missouri. The warrant was issued on charges of Grooming or Enticement of a Minor and Furnishing Pornographic Material to a Minor. On September 22, 2026, Mr. Miller was taken into custody without incident. This investigation is ongoing at this time.

Mr. Miller is being held with no bond at this time.
